We Want You!
The Campustown Action Association is looking for businesses, non-profits, and individuals interested in helping shape the growth of Campustown.   Joining the Campustown Action Association will give you a voice in guiding policy in the area, aid you in finding allies in your neighbors, and help you promote your business or organization as well as the entire Campustown District.

Member investments help the Campustown Action Association accomplish many things, including:

  • A monthly clean-up of Campustown, Make Campustown Shine.  Each month, April through November, CAA hosts a group of volunteers to pick up litter and trash in the district.
  • Successful events such as Summerfest and Crafts & Draughts in Campustown, bringing in hundreds of community members
  • Monthly e-newsletter that reaches around 500 subscribers and highlights Campustown Action Association members.
  • An increase in Facebook followers and the creation of a Twitter account, where we highlight local CAA members and Campustown events
  • Continuation of the Campustown Façade Grant Program . This City of Ames program allows property and business owners in the district to apply for matching funds for use in updating the street facing facades of commercial property in Campustown.
